On May 4, 2019 Bronx Alumnae awarded Alison P. with the 2019-2022 Bronx Alumnae Chapter Scholarship of $6400.  Alison is a senior at The Spence School with an overall GPA of 3.8 and serves as their student government president. When not studying and tutoring her fellow students, Alison volunteers twice a week at a nursing home where she sings to residents.

Alison has been accepted and will attend Princeton University in the fall.  She plans to major in molecular biology and possibly minor in African-American Studies. Her aspiration is to become a cardiologist and serve underfunded neighborhoods that lack access to quality healthcare.  Bronx Alumnae is proud to award Alison our prestigious scholarship and be part of her academic journey for the next four years.
