Be Safe, Be Cautious, Be Aware

The pandemic is still ever present as we move throughout 2020 and now, we are also in flu season. As businesses are slowly opening with a fraction of their service, we still need to be very cautious as the pandemic is still ever present. Here are some tips to stay safe and stay aware during these times.

Be Safe. Be Cautious. Be Aware: Wearing a mask, washing your hands and remember to social distance are tips that are key to keeping us all safe.

Wear a mask:

When wearing a mask remember to cover your mouth AND nose. Coverage of both areas serves to protect you and others from the spread of germs.

It is appropriate to cough & sneeze inside your masks, if your mask becomes moist & or soiled, change your mask and wash/sanitize your hands.

Hand washing:

Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Singing the verse of a song or the ABC’s helps you to calculate when 20 seconds has passed. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with hand sanitizer or alcohol wet cloths that contain at least 60% alcohol.

Social Distancing

Remember to stay at least six feet apart from others, when in public spaces. Minimizing close contact with others, helps to decrease the spread of COVID-19 especially from asymptomatic people who have this disorder to healthy people. The practice of physical distancing is essential in keeping each other safe.

As we continue in this new normal, we the public have a critical role in each other’s wellness. It is important that we always remember to be safe, be cautious & be aware.
